Charming, modernized and comfortably equipped stone house with two big terraces with stunning view of the Pyrenees and the old village of Vernet-les-Bains, named 'The Paradise of the Pyrenees' by Rudyard Kipling. The house, located at 650 m. altitude at the foot of Mont Canigou (2785 m), is calmly exposed in the sunshine of Roussillon surrounded by the mountains with a superb micro-climate (43rd Regional Nature Park "Pyrénées Catalanes"). All commercials, restaurants, pools and sports facilities within a short walking distance of the house. The area is one of the best trekking areas of Europe, excellent for experienced as well as unexperienced hikers. Signposted tracks start just behind the house!
