REVIEWED BY TRIPADVISOR. At the entry of the village of PERAST (in Montenegro, independent Balkan Republic located at the south of Croatia, and remained still preserved of the tourist invasion), an old Venetian noble house(17th c.), shelters an apartment of character, restored in 2006 and entirely refitted, with 6 windows, including 2 on the sea, vis-a-vis the twin islets of St George and Our Lady of the Rocks. 10 meters to the sea : bathings in the crystalline waters to the fjord (from May to October), visits of the old walled city of Kotor, escapades in boat across the unique fjord of Southern Europe. Perast, village of the medieval and baroque age classified by UNESCO as world heritage site, Perast is the ideal place to remain with calms while discovering stunning Bay of Kotor (Boka Kotorska), and why not, to benefit from it to visit the nearest town of Dubrovnik, in Croatia.

The house, called “Galleria”, is very close to the Armony Coffee.
Free access Internet (Wireless) from 8:00 to midnight at the "Caffe Armony" (at the bottom of the house) or at the bar-restaurant "Conte" ( 100 m). Terrace for 4 people.

Living cost in Montenegro = between third and half of that in the rest of Europe including Croatia.Currency = Euro.
No cash machine in Perast: only the Post office allows the money withdrawals
The access of the vehicles is prohibited in the village (only the residents, the taxis and an electric shuttle can circulate there). But there exist two car parks (2€/24 hours), at the entry and the exit of the village.
